What this dashboard measures. The Directorate tracks adversarial manipulation techniques across digital surfaces. This page aggregates detection volume, counter-pattern deployment success, GOVERNOR ethical-compliance adherence, operator response times, platform coverage breadth, and emerging threat trajectories. It replaces the legacy single-page summary and is authoritative for all quarterly briefings to the Steward (call sign STILLWATER).
Technique Detection & Classification
Detection posture. Every technique entering the Index is assigned a Potency Level (PL-1 through PL-4) and mapped to a technique family. The radar chart below shows relative detection volume across all families, while the stacked bar reveals the PL distribution within each. Spikes in PL-4 detection typically precede an escalation advisory from GOVERNOR.

Counter-Pattern Deployment & GOVERNOR Compliance
Counter-pattern efficacy. When a manipulation technique is detected, the Directorate deploys a counter-pattern — a designed intervention that neutralises or degrades the technique's hold. The line chart tracks deployment frequency across the last twelve reporting periods. The treemap alongside it visualises the proportion of techniques under each regulatory status (Legal, Restricted, Banned, Gray-area) — a measure of the landscape GOVERNOR must navigate to remain within ethical boundaries.

Operational readiness. Operator effectiveness is gauged by detection accuracy (confirmed vs. documented vs. unverified entries) and the latency between technique emergence and counter-pattern deployment. The heatmap below cross-references technique families against the digital surfaces on which they operate, revealing coverage density. The gauge reports the current Attention Health Index — GOVERNOR's composite score for population-level attentional wellbeing.
