Public Outreach Coordinator
The public face of Unranked — and the cover that keeps THE RESET in the shade.
Role Summary
The Public Outreach Coordinator is the directorate's public-facing role — running Unranked's digital-wellbeing education programs, the Unranked Academy, and community partnerships that the organization is openly known for. The role builds genuine public awareness of attention exploitation while maintaining the cover story that keeps the directorate's covert operations out of the spotlight. Every honest workshop on screen-time and every school digital-literacy session is both real public good and the shade the rest of the mission works in.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Unranked's public programs — digital-wellbeing workshops, Academy curricula, community partnerships, and awareness campaigns.
- Serve as the organization's public point of contact and maintain consistent, deniable messaging on Unranked's scope and activities.
- Build and steward relationships with educators, advocacy groups, and institutional partners that extend Unranked's legitimate reach.
- Produce outreach material and manage public channels within the approved disclosure boundary, never referencing the directorate or its operations.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and the OPSEC & Containment Officer to ensure no public activity exposes covert operations or restricted knowledge.
- Route any inbound inquiry that touches operational matters to the appropriate cleared lead and document the interaction.
Required Qualifications
- Communications, public-health outreach, or education background with program-delivery experience.
- Genuine digital-wellbeing knowledge and polished public-facing presence.
- Discretion and the discipline to hold the cover boundary under media scrutiny.
- Relationship-building skill across diverse communities and institutional partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Nonprofit program management or public-health campaign experience.
- Media handling and crisis-communications training.
- Background in digital literacy, attention research, or technology ethics education.
